Creatures
Dark ElvesSupernatural beings. Lives in caves and holes of Svartalfheim and are mischievous trouble makers. They are small human shaped.
DwarfsSupernatural beings. Created by gods from maggots crawling in the flesh of Ymir. They are usually skilled craftsmen. Hoarding gold and and precious jewels trying to win favor of the gods attempting to woo goddesses. Enemy of Giants/Giantesses. Known to be cunning, sometimes downright evil. They are small stature, ugly features, sometimes physical deformity.
Einherjar
The Einherjar are the heroes who have died with great bravery on the battle fields. These heroes are prepared in Valhalla for the oncoming battle of Ragnarok. In the morning they are woken by the crowing of the cock Gullinkambi ("golden comb"). During the day they train and fight, until they cut each other to pieces. At night they feast at Odin's side and their wounds are miraculously healed.
On the day of Ragnarok, the bravest of the Einherjar will march with Odin to battle the frost giants, the enemies of the gods.
Giants/Giantesses
Supernatural beings. May be frost, fire or mountain giants. Are with a few exceptions enemies to the gods. Their stronghold Utgard is said to be either in the the barren mountains of Jotunheimen, east of Midgard or beyond the ocean. they are enormous of size, and have the ability of shapechanging.
Light Elves
Supernatural beings. Lives in Alfheim and are good and helpful. They are small human shaped.
Valkyries"Choosers of the Slain". Supernatural beings and female warrior servants to Odin. Directed the course of battle. Chose the most valiant warrior to go to Valhalla to be Odin's guest when they where slain. They also served food and drink to warriors in Valhalla.
Jormungand
Son of Loki and the Giantess Angrboda. Trouble making enemy og the gods. Thrown in the ocean by Odin, after warning from Norns that he was a danger. Grew bigger and bigger until he cirkled the Earth and could take his own tail in his mouth.
At the destruction of the universe, Jormungand and Thor will kill each other.
