Humans
AfiMeans "Grandfather". Married to Amma, and they had one son Karl, granted to them by Heimdall. Farmer, and small land owner. Was chosen by all gods to raise ancestors of all farm owners. Known to be generous and hard working.
Agnar
Son of King of the Goths. Shipwrecked with his brother Geirrod when he was ten years old. Was taken care of by Odin and Frigg in disguise. Was Frigg's favorite, and therefore set adrift and abandoned by Geirrod at end of their journey home. Survived, but led wild life. He became smith to King Hjalprek of Jutland.
Ai
Ai means "Great Grandfather". Married to Edda, and they had one son Thrall, granted to them by Heimdall. He was given by gods to be ancestor to all labourers, and was known to be humble and generous.
Alti
Married to Gudrun. Avenged death of her first housband, Sigurd, by killing his murderer. Became greedy for gold Gudrund's family had, and murdered Gudrund's brother for it. He was despatched by Gudrund in revenge.
Amma
Means "Grandmother". Married to Afi, and they had one son Karl, granted to them by Heimdall. Was a farmer's wife, and was chosen by all gods to raise ancestors of all farm owners. Known to be generous and maternal.
Ask
Married to Embla. He was created from ash branch found on a beach by Odin and given life. He was the first human, and the first being known to be mortal.
Brynhild
Supernatural human. Valkyrie servant to Odin and married to Gunnar. Liked to visit earth in swan disguise to swim. Had swan feathers stolen by a man who made her change the course of battle before he would return them. This caused a favorite of Odin's to lose battle. She was therefore stripped of Valkyrie status and placed in magic sleep in a castle surrounded by fire. Rescued by and was to marry Sigurd. Became victim of the course of Andvari's Gold which Sigurd owned. Cheated of happiness by evil plans of Queen Grimhild who wanted the gold. Sigurd married Grimhild's daughter Gudrund instead of her. Brynhild forced to marriy Gunnar. In desperation she arranged Sigurds death and comitted sucide. She was a great warrior as a Valkyrie, very beautiful but an unlucky and tragic figure.
Embla
Married to Ask. He was created from ash branch found on a beach by Odin and given life. He was the first human, and the first being known to be mortal.
Geirrod
King of the Goths. Had one son Agnar, and a brother Angar. Shipwrecked with his brother, Agnar, when eight years old. Cared for by Odin and Frigg in disguise. Became Odin's favorite. Jumped overboard taking oars abandoning Agnar to drift in the boat in which they returned home. He went home and claimed that Agnar was dead and was made heir to the throne. He became king, but ruled badly. Odin came to court in disuise to test his behavior and was tied to a spit between two fires. Odin was furious and caused him to trip on his own sword and kill himself.
Thrym
Giant famed for dearing to steal Mjollnir and demand to Freyja as his wife as reward for returning it. Short lived glory though, as Thor and Loki went to Thrym's hall disguised as Freyja (in bridal veil) and bridesmaid. When Mjollnir was prodused to bless the bride, Thor grabbed it and killed Thrym and many others. Known to be arrogant and unwise.
